Experts in paediatric immunology gathered for the Pediatric Allergy and Asthma Meeting (PAAM), hosted by the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (EAACI). The influence of diet during critical periods, particularly pregnancy and early infancy, were discussed in relation to allergy prevention. A selection of speakers brought forward evidence supporting the benefits of hydrolysed formulae and the introduction of common allergenic foods.
